My 93 year old mother was a resident here for 13 months before her recent passing. My family was very pleased with the overall care she received. The staff were consistently caring and attentive—the direct caregivers, as well as the med techs, front desk staff, the transport driver, maintenance staff, medical director, executive director. Everyone! And they made us feel like we were part of their “organization family” too. They were so patient with my mother as her dementia progressed, answering her call button even when she mistakenly pressed it. The med techs, staff and medical director were excellent about letting us know if they noticed changes in mother’s behavior that might indicate a new health issue. In her last days, they were all so compassionate and provided amazing guidance to help us through the process. My family is very grateful to the Morada staff.

This place offers so many amenities to the seniors living there. From caring staff that keeps up after my dad, to the event staff keeping him engaged! And my father is gaining weight from all the food he says he eats. Best he's ever had! He has a view that can't be beat to boot.

My wife has been at Morada for almost 3 years. During that time there has been a number of management and staff changes. In a short time, the current team and I do mean team, has turn around the Quintessence facility into a 5 star facility. Everyone works together from the Director to food and beverage to caregivers to management. If your love ones need the care they deserve I suggest highly you look at Morada.

WARNING!! DO NOT LEAVE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! If I could give this place half a star I would! This place not only has high turn over. BUT they take advantage of their residents! The website CLAIMS that it's one of the best places, do not read those fake reviews, read these real ones. They will try and tell you this is not true but I have all the proof! It is also impossible to get ahold of any corporate office or higher ups. This place has taken rent out twice in one month, that is 10k in one month and they would have gotten away with it if my grandmother didn't have people watching her account. They had two different stories as to why and when they were called out on it they stopped communicating. They had no remorse. These people would leave her on the toilet for 30 min to an hour at a time, skip showers and tell her that she needed to wheel herself to lunch and dinner. Trying to tell her she needed to help them help her, mind you she has a bad shoulder and a crippled foot!! They even took money out after my grandma had already moved out!! They threw her clothes everywhere instead of putting them away despite signs saying where stuff was. They would lie saying they couldn't find pajamas and make her sleep in what she was wearing! If you care about your loved ones and worry about if they will get treated right!! DO NOT BRING THEM HERE! My grandmother deserved more than what she got paying 5k a month!!! So thankful we found a wonderful place who has genuine people and great bedside manner. This place and the directors only care about making it LOOK like a five star place but don't want to take good care of the residents they already have!! I hope someone can share this to owners or ANYONE not in albuquerque and real change happens there because our elderly deserve better! They pay other sites to keep bad reviews off the site, I reviewed them on other sites and they got denied.
