History
Established in 1984.
Spectrum Entertainment is a mobile sound and lighting company specializing in weddings, school dances, fundraisers, stage and professional sound and lighting, video, a photo booth, technical support, sales and service throughout Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Utah. Robert Nelson, Owner of Spectrum Entertainment, started doing school dances at North Jr. High in Boise, Idaho at 13 years of age. At the age of 14 he started working at Déjà Vu as a disc jockey and production manager. Rob went on to work at BSU radio, in the late 80’s on the Mutant Pop Radio Show, and later to Q104 radio. He has also worked over 25 years as a Club DJ throughout the Pacific Northwest. In 1986 he started working on a project called “The Festival of Trees” for Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, and this year will mark his 26th year working with them.
