The restaurant celebrates local legends – Izzy Gomez and his San Francisco Café and Volstead Act history, and Sam DuVall’s reign as a successful San Francisco restaurateur. The restaurant pulls from Prohibition-era vernacular to give the guest a sense of place. The restaurant has been host to legendary San Francisco visitors and illustrious lore.
